We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a special incursion tomorrow, 26 April 2023, at our centre. We will be welcoming Sydney Water as our special guest, who will be presenting an early learning program on the topic of water and toilet training.
The incursion has been designed by qualified teachers and will be a fun and engaging experience for the children. They will join Jila, the platypus, on an exploration of all things water, and will learn about where their water comes from, why water is special, and how we can care for water.
One of the key focuses of the program will be toilet training, and the children will have the opportunity to learn about what should and shouldn't be flushed down the toilet. They will also learn about the 3Ps – pee, poo, and paper – and why it's important to only flush these items.
The 40-minute learning session promises to be an exciting and educational experience for the children. They will have the chance to meet Jila, learn about water conservation, and create their own colourful Jila as part of the incursion.
